The Company has been transforming lives through its varied philanthropic activities across sectors. It primarily provides assistance in the areas of education and health.

JMD philanthropic activities have the following objectives:

• Reach out to the most needy families in distress and need
• Conduct community outreach programmes
• Strengthen linkages with the community
• Women empowerment through skill training
• Support to children
• Support during COVID

The pandemic has changed lives and livelihoods. The impact of Coronavirus pandemic on India has been largely disruptive in terms of economic activity as well as a loss of human lives. Almost all the sectors have been adversely affected. The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic is devastating: many are at risk of falling into extreme poverty, while the number of undernourished people could increase too. JMD has come forward and given a helping hand to many during these times of crisis and challenge.

JMD has provided immunity boosting kits and ration kits to the families in need and distress. It has also provided food to children, whose parents lost their jobs due to prolonged lockdown. Around 500 people were covered through this noble initiative.

Some other activities taken up by JMD as a part of the COVID relief campaign include

• Distribution of clothes to the poor girl child
• Mass awareness on Corona prevention and care during COVID
• Large scale distribution of masks
• Assisting poor people in registering for the vaccine
• Providing teaching learning material to poor children.
