JMD Helping Hand, in an attempt to make someone’s life better and to set an example, took a step. We came across a single mother about her issues. She shared her life tragedies and how she fights everyday to put food on her son’s plate. She shared that COVID took away the little she could do to survive in this harsh world. In the end, we were so moved by her struggles that we couldn’t help but do something for the poor lady. We set up a small roadside shop for her.

The shop was set up on a very busy and active road with no other shops in the distance. This would allow her to make good sales. We stacked up the shop with everything she would need. We also provided her with some cash to go by some days. By this attempt, we hope we were able to make her life better. We believe that small steps make big changes. This effort didn’t take anything much from our side but it sure made a huge change in her life. By this, we aim to set an example to the whole world that your small efforts can really save someone’s life.
